PHILADELPHIA, PA — A millennial wrestling fan has come to the crushing realization that they’ll never be able to try wrestling moves at home due to skyrocketing housing costs.
“I thought one day I’d have a place of my own,” said Joe Cominski, a longtime South Philly renter. “Somewhere simple where I could do a powerbomb off the roof onto the trampoline – but when I started to look for houses in my price range, I was crushed.”
As housing prices continue to rise across the country, millennials like Cominski feel like they will be renting for the rest of their lives.
“A one bedroom apartment just isn’t enough space to hit a belly-to-belly suplex, let alone a german suplex,” said Cominski on a tour of his tiny South Philly apartment. “Plus I can’t risk any damage a 450 frog splash might cause. I need to get my security deposit back.”
During the tour, Cominski did show off a small space he was able to clear out in the living room where he was able to try out various holds.
“It helps scratch that itch, but it’s not the same as having a house with a roof you can jump off of. Maybe one day I’ll be able to afford to rent a two-bedroom and try some choke slams or drop kicks, but even that seems more unobtainable each day.”
At the end of the tour, Cominski was still hopeful that the day would come when he’ll be able to own his own home.
“I just have to keep a positive attitude. Who knows, maybe I’ll get lucky and find a house I can afford with a nice back porch I can try an elbow drop from.”
NEW YORK — AMC thrilled fans of The Walking Dead series today with an announcement that each and every zombie ever shown on screen will be getting its own official spin-off show.
AMC Executive Vice-President of Walker Content Alfred Hickenbottom revealed the plans for the new shows in a press release.
“We know how much Walking Dead fans love this universe and don’t want to see it end so we’re always looking for ways to force it to continue. This new push of content will keep it running forever,” the statement read. “Even in an actual zombie apocalypse you’ll still have new Walking Dead shows to consume. These new shows will also help us during the content draughts we experience when Norman Reedus is doing something with Hideo Kojima.”
Hickenbottom isn’t worried about this many new Walking Dead shows having diminishing returns.
“We used to be the number one show on cable for years before viewers left en masse but the ones that stayed are here for life. We know they’ll watch anything if they didn’t leave during season eight. We’re currently on our sixth spin-off show so what’s a few thousand more? We know our fans will tune in whether it’s to see what Daryl Dixon is inexplicably doing in Paris or to see the ten episode origin of the Walker that killed T-Dog in season 3.”
Fans of the show are excited to have more stories in this universe.
“I’ve always wanted to know about the little girl walker from the pilot episode. It’s the only time we ever see her and it’s been bugging me for over a decade so to have an entire series dedicated to her is awesome and the same goes for all the other walkers getting their own series,” said super fan Stephanie Hartstone “Playing games on my phone during Walking Dead has been a weekly tradition for years and I’m happy it will continue forever.”
At press time, AMC is also planning on giving each zombie a tie-in video game from GameMill Entertainment.

LOBBY – A Valorant player halfway through the most foul, shockingly ignorant rant you’ve ever heard over voice chat has reportedly been stopped halfway through his tirade and offered a weekly show at The Daily Wire.
Sources confirmed that Daily Wire representatives were quick to reach out to the conservative media prospect, who goes by the username MgtowMike, after being thoroughly impressed by the sheer level of toxicity and highly engaging rage bait content he managed to spew in a single match.
“We knew we had to have him on board,” said a Daily Wire spokesperson. “His ability to take any news item and turn it into a sign of the collapse of western civilization is one of the best we’ve ever seen. This is why we have talent scouts.”
The rant, which spanned approximately 45 minutes across two servers after he was kicked from the first one, reportedly covered topics ranging from the supposed cultural inferiority of MgtowMike’s teammates to wild accusations about the personal lives and citizenship status of rival players.
“I was just in the zone, you know?” MgtowMike told reporters when asked about the epic speech which landed him the Daily Wire gig. “I’ve never let anything stop me. Not the censors, not the matrix, and not my .43 K/D.”
The Daily Wire has announced that MgtowMike’s new show, tentatively titled “Triggering Headshots,” will premiere next month. The show is expected to feature the gamer’s trademark blend of unhinged rants and mediocre gameplay footage.
“We’re thrilled to have MgtowMike join our lineup,” said Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro. “He’s promised us he will promote his show by tagging Elon Musk even more frequently and desperately than Jordan Peterson does so we’re expecting big things.”
At press time, MgtowMike was reportedly in negotiations for a book deal and a speaking tour at various harassment campaign Discords.
Enemy spawn rates, UI fixes, and general stability have been addressed in this week’s Helldivers 2 patch on Steam PC and PlayStation 5!

Today's patch is dealing with the spawn rate of heavily armored Terminid enemies as well as the possible play against them. It also contains some fixes to UI elements and crash fixes.
The amount of heavily armored targets that spawn on higher difficulties, especially for Terminids, have been a big discussion point online and internally. The intent is for groups to have to bring some form of anti-tank capability but not to the degree previously needed.
To that end we have reduced the spawn rate of Chargers and Bile Titans on difficulties 7 and up. In addition we have reduced the risk of spawn spikes of Chargers and Bile Titans.
Please note that we have changed the distribution of enemy types, not reduced difficulty. Expect other enemy types to appear in greater numbers instead.
We are humbled by the community's ability to find things like Chargers “leg meta” in our game, however spending your heavy anti tank weapons on legs instead of the obvious weak point seems counter to expectation.
We are not changing anything regarding the Charger’s legs, we are however lowering the health of the Charger’s head. It should now be at a point where a well placed shot from a Recoilless Rifle or EAT-17 instantly kills a charger.
Together with the unfortunately undocumented change of last patch that increased the armor penetration ability of less well placed shots for EAT-17s and Recoilless Rifle shots, Chargers should now be easier to handle by well equipped groups.
"Electronic Countermeasures" operation modifier, which had a chance of giving you a random stratagem instead of the one you input, has been removed in order to be reworked, and will be reintroduced in a future iteration. We found that this modifier wasn’t communicated clearly enough and overall caused more frustration than excitement with the way it was currently implemented. This change was made in 1.000.100 but was unintentionally omitted from the patch notes

WWE RAW Preview: Gauntlet Match to face GUNTHER at WrestleMania
A gauntlet match is undoubtedly the highlight of the evening, as Ricochet, JD McDonagh, Chad Gable, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura and Bronson Reed will be competing to see who gets a shot at GUNTHER and his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40.
In terms of favourites, it really comes down to either Sami Zayn or Chad Gable, with both looking as likely as the other to get the win and the big-time match at the Premium Live Event.
Zayn has already proven that he can perform at the highest level, but Gable has slowly become a dark horse favourite among fans, so either would work on the night really, but I’m going with Gable.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) are set to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships tonight against the team of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.
It seems a bit early to take the belts off of KW, and considering the ongoing feud between Bayley and her former group Damage CTRL, there’s probably a bigger play down the line with Asuka and Kairi still holding the belts.
WWE RAW Preview: Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan
In another pretty blockbuster match for tonight, Becky Lynch will be taking on Liv Morgan. There will likely be some interference here, as WWE will not want Becky or Liv losing in the near future, so we might see Nia Jax get involved somehow.
Lynch is set to face Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania XL, which itself looks like it could be a dark horse for the best match of the entire weekend.

AEW News: Former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks/Mercedes Mone has coyly addressed her future ahead of an expected All Elite debut.
Banks left WWE back in 2022, and whilst her then tag team partner Naomi (who also left) has now returned, Banks has opted to head to the likes of New Japan Pro Wrestling rather than the company where he found fame across NXT, RAW and SmackDown.
Speaking to the Kick Rocks Wrestling Podcast with Evan Mack, Mone revealed that she has made a decision on her next career move, but won’t reveal yet what that actually is.
AEW News: Mercedes Mone Talks Next Career Move
“I’m talking with all these amazing bosses and CEOs and companies, and getting to really sit back and scout out all these shows, and promotions and companies” Mone noted during the interview, explaining what she has been doing whilst out with injury.
“I’m like, ‘I think I might have finally made my decision,’ and I think it will be really soon” the former Sasha Banks added. (via WrestlingINC).
Will Mercedes Mone debut in AEW this week?
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite is the special “Big Business” show, which has essentially been teasing the debut of Mone in plain sight…without outright saying it.
The company did a very similar thing with CM Punk when he first joined the company back in 2021, although he of course ironically would also end up returning to WWE.
We’re expecting Mercedes Mone to debut this week on AEW Dynamite, yes, but it is worth pointing out that All Elite Wrestling has not outright said it is happening.
It is not currently known who the first feud will be for the former WWE Women’s Champion, although a programme with the likes of Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter or Saraya would not be out of the question.

I need to play my favorite game every day or else I’ll die. Similarly, if I continue playing this game I will kill myself. So you can see the predicament that I’m in. When I cry I can’t even tell if they’re sad tears or tears of joy. I hate this game so much I can’t even bring myself to write its name.
I’ve been playing since I was 9 years old and I’m 25 now. Most of the anger I’ve ever felt can be traced back to this game, and yet I must return every day with a smile on my face, duty-bound to feel the pain of playing it. When I win, I feel like God himself, smiting those who have desecrated the world I have created. When I lose, I simply blame the devs so the rage stays tucked away deep inside my hollow soul.
The best part about my favorite game is how it’s got its own unique style, but its main appeal is that it’s unfinished and broken. What’s the point of playing a game that works every time you open it? Where’s the mystery in that? It’ll break for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and it ruins my entire week because that means I can no longer ruin my entire week by playing it. I get hostile towards everyone I know because I was momentarily freed from the eternal prison that is this game and I love every second of it.
Every time I uninstall the game to try to fix one of the many issues that makes it unplayable, I sit there for a second after. Should I reinstall it? Or should I move on, become happy again, and probably become a billionaire with all the free time I’d suddenly have?
But time and time again, I find myself reinstalling like the trained pain-seeking dog I am. The lure is simply too powerful. I can always feel I’m only way-too-many Gigabytes of hard drive space away from going to bed angry again. Sure, my routine is slowly killing me inside, but it’s my routine! I need my routine.
At this point I am sure you are aware of my favorite game. I’ll tell you, but only because we’ve trauma bonded over this together and you seem cool. It’s Burger King Pocket Bike Racer.
TORONTO – Hardcore gamer Bryce Wilkinson has cracked this whole thing wide open, despite multiple indications that he’s based his core assertions on an incorrect assumption.
“One company is responsible for feminizing the entirety of Western gaming by rewriting plots, redesigning characters, destroying masculine values, and even showing me images of people who don’t look like me,” Wilkinson told Hard Drive, projecting a thin film of saliva into the air with every word.
The one company in question, Sweet Baby Inc., is a Montreal-based narrative design consultancy firm and also, as per a crack investigation by some of the Internet’s strangest little freaks, the source of all evil.
“They pretend to be about narrative development, particularly in terms of inclusive world-building and cultural accuracy. But that’s all a cover,” Wilkinson said while gesturing wildly at a detective-styled board on his wall. “If we don’t fight back now every white male gamer will be in prison in a matter of weeks.”
Sweet Baby’s working process is exhaustively detailed on its website and in several articles, which also features testimony from multiple past collaborators, another sign that perhaps there’s no telling how high this thing goes, some noted.
“We’ve found through focus testing that games tend to perform better when they naturally represent diverse characters and perspectives, since we’re trying to sell these games to everyone in the world,” said Dylan Hopkins, a junior narrative designer on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. “In other words, it’s demographics, not a conspiracy. We’re trying to make money. And we don’t want anything offensive to accidentally slip in, an effort which ultimately offended a group of people online I suppose.”
Despite multiple testimonies similar to Hopkins being easily found online, none were included in the theories that continue to circulate via social media that Sweet Baby is behind the collapse of Western Gaming Civilization.
“The media is in on it too – no surprise since they all sleep together. They trade hot woke sex for positive reviews and inclusive quotas,” Wilkinson said via Discord DM. “Of course I’m not invited but I can’t even be an unbiased, neutral observer? So much for being ‘inclusive’ if they won’t even let me watch.”
At time of writing, Sweet Baby had released a comment that was simply the word “sigh.”
