In Helldivers 2, the pink Super Uranium Samples are in super short supply, especially with ship upgrades requiring between 5 to 10 of them, and the lowest available difficulty only yielding 3 per run. This Helldivers 2 guide is intended to show you how to farm Super Samples as efficiently as possible by quickly identifying their location on the map.
Helldivers 2 Super Sample Farming Difficulty Selection
Only the highest three difficulty tiers will even offer you the opportunity to loot Super Samples. While the mesa-like structure where they are found will be visible in-game and on the map on lower difficulty levels, there will be no pickups on the ground around it, for you to gather.
You will need to run missions on one of the following difficulty levels for Super Samples, with the difference between each being a greater number of sample pickups:
Run Light Armor, not just for the high Speed and Stamina Regen, but also for the Armor Passive: Scout, which will radar scan the map every few seconds around the area where you have placed markers.
You may find that other Armor types can also ping and scan the minimap for places of interest, but this seems broken in the game, and fails for some players, but not for others.
Helldivers 2 Find Super Samples Fast
Find some cover and open up your minimap. Zoom in and scan around for a roundish silvery blob, which is what the Super Sample structure looks like from above. If it is what you hope, hovering over it will definitely identify it as a “Minor Place of Interest”. Mark the location and make a beeline for it.
Once you get used to recognizing the outline on the map, you’ll be able to identify it correctly every single time. If scanning gets too annoying, spam-pinging the map can also work to uncovers places of interest.
Note that a couple of Operation Modifiers either disable or glitch the ability to scan and ping for places of interest, regardless of Armor Passive. This includes map obscuring modifiers such as “Atmospheric Spores”, as well as others like “Orbital Fluctuations”.
Keep in mind that only one of these sites exist on each map, with the other similar looking short mesas actually being fake-outs guarded by enemies.
ATLANTA – Individuals vulnerable to the Woke Mind Virus are encouraged to buy two doses of Stellar Blade in order to help prevent future outbreaks, as per new recommendations from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released yesterday.

A new persistent connection error has cropped up in Helldivers 2, and it is freezing players either aboard their ship when solo, or stuck in drop pod when loading in on a friend. This Helldivers 2 guide is a collection of every known solution to the problem and possible reasons why.
Whether on PlayStation 5 or PC, the simplest fix has always been to restart your machine and get a fresh start. If there are any local network connectivity issues, this should resolve them as well. Failing that, you can proceed on to more advanced measures.
That most common fix for games that are experiencing technical issues. A corrupted installation is said to be the cause of the issue for some players on both PlayStation 5 and Steam PC. You may want to either perform a fresh install, or simply use the “Verify integrity of game files” function by right-clicking Helldivers 2 -> Properties -> Installed Files. As an added aside, always make sure the game is updated. Since Helldivers 2 is an online-only, Games-as-a-Service (GaaS) title, if your game version isn’t synced with the server, you will not be able to login properly.
Reset Config File
You can force the game to reset its settings to default. Navigate to C:\Users\[your PC name]\AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2 and rename user_settings.config to user_settings.config.old or anything of your choice. This will create the config file anew, and should resolve the stuck on loading screen glitch.
Firewall interference has been noted as the cause of the issue for some players, and temporarily turning it off or creating an exception for Helldivers 2 is a potential fix. If security is a concern, the firewall can be turned back on after successfully loading into a mission.
Disable VPN
Players with VPNs may want to skip the middleman for once, as it is known to trip up server connectivity in Helldivers 2. If the VPN is vital to your online security, try switching to another city or country.
Change DNS Server
DNS servers perform IP lookups, and your default DNS server may not be all that reliable, especially if it is offered by your internet service provider. You can try Cloudflare’s DNS services with 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
A more technical fix than most of us would like, nonetheless it has had success for many players as a last resort. According to multiple redditors, disabling IPv6, and falling back on IPv4 works 100% of the time for instances where no other solution worked.
The original Helldivers released in early 2015 and was a twin-stick top-down shooter while its sequel, Helldivers 2, is primarily a third person shooter. However, the game does allow you to briefly switch to the first person POV under the right circumstances, and there are some settings that can make the whole experience easier in the heat of battle.
On PC, the default keybind to switch to first person is the middle mouse button, while on PlayStation 5 players would need to click in the right thumbstick. However both require you to aim down sights with the weapon first, if your aim setting is set to ‘hold’ the.
Additionally, with mouse & keyboard, if you’ve modified your aim setting to ‘press’ (tap) rather than ‘hold’, the camera will not switch. Instead try Dynamic Aim Mode, which will give you first person ADS directly with a press/tap, and third person with hold. This can be found in Settings -> Options -> Gameplay, towards the bottom, as pictured above, and will be greyed out if a controller is even plugged in, even though you may not be actively using it.
All told, this is the only time you can switch to first person mode in Helldivers 2, aside from a random bug that lasts for a few seconds. If you’re hoping to be able to traverse the map and do anything besides shooting in first person, you’re out of luck, at least until the developers decide to give in to the demands of the vocal sections of the online community.
Having said that, the key/button sequence required to shoot in first person may annoy some players, so there are some settings that can be modified to default to first person when aiming down sights, based on weapon, without the extra step.

Aside from what is mentioned above regarding the use of Dynamic Aim Mode, there are also some settings to make use of first person by default based on weapon selection. This can be found in Settings -> Options -> Gameplay as pictured above. While ‘Global’ may seem like the obvious choice, it is actually recommended that you use ‘Per Weapon’ instead.
This is because the first person mechanics appear to have been a design afterthought in Helldivers 2, and can cause some buggy behaviour with certain weapons. Your mileage may vary, but the Marksmen/Sniper often miss entirely especially while standing near or behind cover.

New Helldivers 2 patch, new problems with online connectivity. If you’re one of the Helldivers 2 players seeing this new error code on the launch splash screen, this quick guide will tell you how you can possibly fix it.
Despite what most players think, this is not in fact a new error, but the same old “Servers at capacity. Please try again later” error that we’re all used to by now, and appears predominantly for PlayStation 5 players. The original, more verbose message is randomly obfuscated by the error code. A restart of the game may show you the same splash screen but with the actual message this time. Fortunately, the troubleshooting solutions for error code 10003001 remain the same.
Helldivers 2 Servers At Capacity
The concurrent player cap at this time remains unchanged at 450K. If a player attempts to join the normal way when the servers are congested, they will simply be placed in a non-transparent queue, with no indication of wait time. Hammering retry isn’t necessarily going to work after the tenth time.
PlayStation 5 players should try disabling CrossPlay, as it appears to put controller purists in a different player queue/pool. The setting is buried in Settings -> Options -> Gameplay -> Off. This might also work for Steam players as well, assuming that queue reservation for mouse and keyboard purists has also been implemented by the developers.
Helldivers 2 Fix Error 10003001 With Friends
On Steam PC, do NOT launch Helldivers 2. Instead find the profile of an Online friend who has already successfully connected to Helldivers 2, and select Join Game. This will boot up the game automatically and load you directly into their ship after a brief black screen, lasting up to a minute.
On PlayStation 5, you can join a friend that has successfully loaded into the game, either though an invite, or manually from their profile or party screens. PlayStation 5 players can also attempt the method mentioned in the following Reddit post:
This method works even in CrossPlay using invites, but is one-way only at this time: PlayStation players can receive invites from Steam PC players, but not the other way around. The Steam PC player must also set status to Online for the invite to be received.
The working theory is that either there is a social priority given to friends, especially since Helldivers 2 is an inherently social, co-op game, or that this is an unforeseen exploit of systems intended to allow squadmates that crash out to quickly rejoin a session.
Find a random forum poster on the Steam Community board for Helldivers 2 with a green outline around their profile pic: this indicates that they are Online currently.
Click their profile, and look on the right side for “Currently In-Game”. Ideally they will be playing Helldivers 2, so go ahead and click the green button below it that reads “Join Game”.
Helldivers 2 will automatically boot up, as that button is a steam://joinlobby link.
Don’t panic if you see a black screen, as that’s normal. Wait a beat or two, and you should be able to launch directly into the game.
Your mileage may vary on your first try, so don’t hesitate to make a second attempt if it seems like you’re hung on a black screen for too long.
Gamer Nathan Jackson’s online participation in what he called a “fight for the soul of gaming” is destined to become the only actual proof that he ever existed, all-knowing sources confirmed.
When asked about his vitriolic postings, Jackson told reporters he was “simply asking questions.” The interview would prove to be one of the few times in his life anyone would ask his take on anything.

Experts believe his life circumstances are part of a growing trend.
“It’s similar to when there’s a TV show that was aired but no one has a recording of it. It’s basically like that but for a human life,’” Henry Garner, head of UCLA’s sociology department said. “There is so much we don’t know about this group of individuals though. They are very hard to study. Are you in contact with a specimen you can bring to my lab?”

SINAI PENINSULA, EGYPT — Battlefield player Brendan Payne has reportedly switched his class from Assault to Scout in a bid to turn the match around, becoming the 27th player on his team to do so according to witnesses.
“My dumbass squadmates never protect me when I’m trying to destroy tanks, so I figured I’d switch things up,” explained Payne as he joined 26 other snipers on the 32-player losing team. “The problem is we don’t have enough long-range coverage, otherwise I would be leading the team in flag captures and vehicles destroyed. I’m getting smoked by infantry because nobody is looking out for me, so I guess I have to deal with that now. I’m really handy with the Lebel Model 1886, though, so this might be just what we need.”
Payne’s teammates include Charlie Squad and their leader, Bryan Windsor, who are the last remaining players on the British side equipped with automatic rifles, anti-tank weapons, ammunition, and healing items.
“We’ve lost everything. Nelson Ridge, the outskirts, Mazar Station, even that flag all the way out in the fucking desert,” said Windsor as a flametrooper elite class reduced him to ash. “Everything is gone, including the town itself now, because one-by-one everyone’s deciding to pitch a tent on that big ass rock arch over the canyon to snipe.”
“I’ve spent the last 8 minutes staring at the redeploy screen because I can’t move more than an inch without a tank or Hellriegel doming me,” Windsor added. “All of these Scouts think they’re heroes and they’ve got the worst KDs I’ve ever seen. Bullets whizz by and hit nothing but sand. I’m choking on the dust and incompetence.”
Opposing player Dominic Kelly had a markedly different take on the British team’s composition, noting that it reminded him of the days of Battlefield 2 stat padding.
“The way their scope glints light up on that ridge and across the dunes like rows of Christmas lights is endlessly funny to me,” said Kelly, who has spent the match flying the Ilya-Muromets heavy bomber equipped with high explosive cluster bombs. “All I’m doing now is flying overhead and deleting 9 or 10 of them at a time with the press of a button.
