  • Fixes the Issues with lights and torches, Fixes crash related to Tuskers' aura

  • Fixed bug where item in light slot would become activated any time player visibility changed
  • Fixed other Aluminium building piece recipes that require Aluminium Ingots
  • Adding appropriate audio for start loop and stop of coal - wood burner. Adding appropriate deploy audio
  • Fixing wood burner chimney smoke effects playing at the wrong location - based on smaller chimney
  • Fixed bug where wood torch and wood rag torch would disappear when looking in certain directions in first-person
  • Fixed Hypothermia Resistance modifier granted by Tusker crashing game when removed.

  • Fixed bug where mounts/tames wouldn't attack targets if they failed to path
  • Fixed bug where Moa mount wouldn't attack after unlocking required talent and setting to Defensive/Aggressive
  • Fixed pets having mount talent growth, granting additional talents over
  • Adding Subclasses of Apply To Target so all medicines have their correct 'in-use' modifier
  • Adding viewable creature modifiers when viewing a mount or tames tooltip in world

Missing from this hotfix

The following was supposed to be in this update but failed in test. They will be fixed in the next update.
  • Paints cannot be made without interior decorations DLC, to make the red chicken coup. This was not intended, and has been partially fixed in this update but not completely. This will be fixed in the next update.

On the mission where Eve is tasked by Scavenger Adam to go to the Hall of Records, the locked gate to Club BPEMR will impede further progress without the right passcode.

With your back to the gate, head to the right where you’ll notice a large pool of water. Slaughter the enemies in the vicinity to give yourself some breathing room, and then scan the area to locate the human corpse at the bottom of the pool.

Dive right in and investigate it to acquire the Data Bank Update and some SP for your trouble, as well as the actual clue to Club BPEMR’s gate passcode, as pictured above.

Back on solid ground, return to the gate. Directly opposite it, and set high atop a tower is a stopped analog clock. The passcode is the time that the clock is stalled at. The little hand is between twelve and one, while the minute hand is stuck at 25.

The puzzle consists of four numbered discs that have to be placed either adjacent to or between five empty vertical slotted bars of varying heights, in such a way that all five of them are powered up fully.

This can be tricky since it may seem like you have to use the full value of the discs to accomplish this, but you really don’t.

A disc of lower value can be placed to one side of a bar to partially fill up some slots, and another disc can then be set between that same bar and the next, to span its power supply to both.

Stellar Blade is looking gorgeous, evoking Bayonetta and Nier: Automata with its visuals and style. The player character, EVE, can be outfitted in a number of suits, most of which are cosmetic in their effect.

The exception being the Skin Suit which disables EVE’s shield when worn, raising the game’s difficulty to some degree, while also providing plenty of eye candy. Here’s how to unlock and wear the Skin Suit.

The Skin Suit is actually available by default. Simply unequip EVE’s current suit by navigating to:

      • Select Current Nano Suit
        • Press X to Unequip (button prompts are visible in the bottom right corner)

Skin suits are outfits specially crafted by Mother Sphere. It covers the body of the Airborne Squad Member and deploys on its own, or expands and contracts depending on the situation. In other words, it's like a living skin.

Considering that most games both within the action adventure genre, and outside of it, have had a dedicated photography menu, many players are wondering if there is one in Stellar Blade and how to even access it. Stellar Blade PlayStation 5: Is There A Photography Mode?

Unfortunately, the answer is no, not at launch. With a whole year spent on Stellar Blade’s stunning hair physics, the developers haven’t had any additional time to invest into a specialized photography menu for the game.

According to Kim Hyun-Tae, the director of Stellar Blade, the developers remain occupied with the core game itself, and thus Stellar Blade will not launch with photo mode. However, the studio is open to player feedback on inclusion of the mode at a later time and date.

Kim made the statement in an interview with Famitsu, responding to a direct question about the possible inclusion of in-game photography in March 2024, as machine translated below:

Stellar Blade: What is HDCP?

The issues with Stellar Blade’s input lag stem from HDCP on the PlayStation 5. That stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection, which is a form of DRM (Digital Rights Management). HDCP is meant for protecting content from piracy, wherein it prevents copying of digital video and audio streams as they are transmitted between devices.

Unfortunately, these defensive mechanisms have a negative effect on gaming, adding just enough input lag to ruin the player experience.

In order to unlock your bonus DLC, you will have to make your way through a few hours of the game at least. Once you breeze through Eidos 7, and disembark from the ship at Xion, simply head on over to the bridge leading to the city proper.

Right there on the left of the bridge’s entryway is a box on the ground, in plain sight, labelled ‘Deluxe’, as pictured above. Claim it with R2.

While release times haven’t been confirmed, we can expect a local midnight release, which means that Stellar Blade will unlock when midnight strikes on your clock, April 26.
