Overwatch 2: How to Play Junker Queen (Abilities, Skins, & More)

Junker Queen is the first new Tank added to Blizzard’s partially-new game, Overwatch 2. In the lore, she fought hard to become the ruler of Junkertown, a Mad Max styled grunge pit from a post-apocalypse that only affected Australia for some reason. Her playstyle is appropriately brutal, similar to a Barbarian or  Warrior from other Blizzard games. She hits hard at close range with added bleed damage, and can support her team by yelling. Here’s how to use Junker Queen to crush the weak.

Overwatch 2 Junker Queen Abilities

junker queen gun threaten

Junker Queen wants to kill, and nearly all her moves revolve around this. For a tank, she has very little team defense ability.

Adrenaline Rush (Passive): Several of Junker Queen’s abilities cause the “Wound” effect. In any other game this would be called a bleed effect, but maybe Blizzard doesn’t want blood spraying out of their characters to increase the ESRB rating. Or maybe they just want it to stay consistent when used on robots. Wound does damage over time, and this passive causes each active Wound to heal Junker Queen for each point of damage dealt! This is her main survivability mechanic, and different types of Wounds can stack on a single target.

Scattergun (Primary Fire): Junker Queen’s default attack is a big ‘ol shotgun. Its spread isn’t as wide as Reaper’s shotgun, so it works well at medium range as well as close up. In exchange, it only has 6 shots and a lengthy reload time. A direct hit with all the shotgun pellets (easy enough with its narrow spread) does 80 damage.

Jagged Blade (Secondary Fire): Junker Queen flings a knife forward in an arc. This can travel farther than her shotgun attack, but takes more aim and better timing. Anyone who gets hit takes 80 damage, same as the shotgun, but also receives a Wound, causing 15 damage over a few seconds. She’ll heal those 15 points thanks to Adrenaline Rush, but it’s a teeny tiny heal, so this move is better used for damage and setup than self-sustain.

The knife has an additional magnetic property. It sticks wherever it lands, and after a few seconds, it returns to Junker Queen. Right-clicking returns the knife right away, but recalling it early doesn’t affect its 5-second cooldown. The recalled knife applies Wound to enemies it passes through on the way back. It’s possible to throw the knife behind a chokepoint, then call it back to Wound several targets at once. That’s crap for damage, but the Wound heals stack if you need a little boost.

Also, if the knife is stuck in an enemy from a direct hit, pulling it back drags the enemy towards you. It’s only a short pull, like a miniature version of Roadhog’s chain, but it can bring an enemy into shotgun range. Knife > Pull > Shotgun does about 175 damage total, enough to bring most non-tanks near death. A truly skilled Junker Queen can let the pull trigger automatically, dragging the enemy into a prepared Carnage attack!

Junker Queen even uses the knife in her regular melee attacks. If the knife isn’t deployed, her strike will apply the 15 point Wound on top of the normal 30 melee damage. It’s not much, but it might make the difference in a close fight.

Commanding Shout (Ability): This is Junker Queen’s team defense skill. First of all, it gives her an extra 200 health (for five seconds) on top of her normal 425. It also gives all her allies within 15 meters an extra 50 health (for three seconds). Lastly, it buffs Junker Queen’s move speed by 30%, along with any of her allies in range (for five seconds). This is the first area move speed buff since Lucio at Overwatch’s initial release! The extra health is the most important part, but the buff is pretty light for her allies.

Carnage (Ability): Junker Queen’s best attack. A big cleave with her axe, hitting everybody within 5 meters in front of her for 90 damage AND a Wound worth 40 points. That’s 40 points of healing per target! Junker Queen’s gameplan should revolve around getting huge Carnage hits, then finishing off the survivors. Carnage followed by a shotgun blast deals a total of 210 damage, which will kill most non-tanks outright. Its weaknesses are its range, its 8 second cooldown, and its windup: it takes a full second after pressing the button to swing the axe. Proper spacing and timing is essential to get big cleave damage.

Rampage (Ultimate): A magnetic whirlwind of weapons, launching Junker Queen forward and hitting all enemies she passes. The initial hit does no damage, but it applies the biggest Wound of all: 100 damage over five seconds, all of which comes back as healing for the Queen. This Wound also includes a bonus effect: victims can’t heal! Using this Ultimate on an enemy team reliant on heals can completely shut them down, especially if your teammates follow up. But if they don’t, you’re in a bit of trouble: this move can send Junker Queen way out of position. And don’t forget, since there’s no contact damage, it won’t do a thing to enemy shields.

Tips for Junker Queen

junker queen ultimate rampage

Junker Queen is an unusual tank for Overwatch. Rather than using shields or armor, she relies on life-stealing effects from her various Wounds. Her direct team support is limited to a five-second movement buff, and a three-second team health boost of 50 points. In her current form, this makes her hard to use effectively. She relies on hitting multiple enemies with a Carnage cleave, but if the enemies back up a little bit and she misses, she gets no healing and is now standing in front of multiple enemies with guns.

Her strength is her high damage output. Several combinations of her abilities can kill low-health classes in an instant. Striking with Carnage from behind can devastate a whole enemy team grouped around an objective. This puts her in an odd position, however, since that’s typically the job of a flanking DPS hero, not the frontline tank.

Timing her Commanding Shout, the other main piece of her moveset, is critical in making the most of her abilities. Shout first, and you can outrun the enemy to keep them from evading Carnage. Shout mid-fight, and you can use the temporary health boost while healing from Wound damage that would be wasted if your health was full.

Her weakness is her range. If she can’t hit the enemy with Carnage, she can’t do decent damage OR heal herself. Her greatest enemy is anyone with a gun on a ledge above her – and many, many characters are capable of this. That’s not even counting heroes with flight, like Pharah or Echo! She may be able to pull enemies off ledges using a well-timed knife throw, but that’s no guarantee. In short, Junker Queen is great at brawls on a control point, but terrible at advances through rough terrain. Consider the current stage carefully.

Since she has little natural armor, Junker Queen will be much more effective with a dedicated healer looking out for her. A good team setup for Junker Queen could be a mobile group that sticks together. Teaming with Lucio makes a lot of sense: if the whole team stays near the two of you, you’ll all be a lot stronger and faster thanks to his area heals and your Commanding Shout. It’s probably a good idea to have at least one DPS who can fight well at range, too.

In the Overwatch 2 beta, Junker Queen dominated the tank meta for a long time. Much of this was based on her Commanding Shout, which was originally twice as potent on allies with a greater duration. At launch, however, it seems Blizzard may have overcorrected. Our analysis of current Overwatch heroes suggests that Junker Queen isn’t the most reliable tank at the moment. In a game this new, of course, balance changes come quickly, so keep an eye on the patch notes: if the pendulum swings back, Junker Queen may reclaim her throne.

Overwatch 2: How to Play Sojourn (Abilities, Skins, & More)

Sojourn, or Vivian Chase to her friends (should that be the other way around?) is one of Overwatch 2’s three new heroes available at launch. If you can get into the game to play as her, anyway.

This Canadian former special forces captain offers a suite of abilities to be effective in the mid-range as a damage hero, with the added bonus of a dash and jump to get in or out of pretty much anywhere at pace. Her pared-back and reasonably straightforward moveset make her a viable choice for newcomers to Overwatch who are familiar with FPS games more generally.

Sojourn has been referenced in Overwatch lore pretty much from the off, making her first appearance in Ana’s animated origin story. She also served alongside Soldier: 76 during the Omnic War before joining Overwatch, and oversaw the Storm Rising mission, which was included as a lore event in 2019.

And now that Sojourn has made her long-overdue appearance in the game, we go over how her abilities work, her skins, and how to play as her effectively.

Sojourn’s Abilities

Sojourn sliding on the ground.

Railgun (Primary Fire): This nifty bit of kit blasts out 14 projectiles per second at 9 damage each. It’s absurdly accurate, quick to reload its 45-capacity mag, and each projectile that hits either an enemy or their barrier generates energy for your secondary fire, which encourages aggressive play.

Railgun (Secondary Fire): While it can be used from the first hit of primary fire that you land, you can store up to 100 units of energy to hit the top end of the 30-130 damage range. The shot’s area of effect also scales up with the amount of energy stored to a maximum of 0.1 metres, so accuracy is vital here.

Power Slide (Ability): The dance move of choice for all young lads at their school disco. Cover ground at pace, keep firing, and cancel out into a huge jump – there’s some real mobility here. On a six second cooldown.

Disruptor Shot (Ability): Chuck out a little AOE snare vortex, slowing down and sapping at enemies health for 210 damage over four seconds over an effective area of five metres. Follow this up with some Railgun fire and really let ‘em have it. Has a thrown range of 30 metres, and  a 15 second cooldown.

Role: Damage (Passive): Like all the other damage heroes, Sojourn benefits from a quick burst of heightened reload and movement skill after eliminating a hero, helping to keep you in the fight a little longer.

Overclock (Ultimate): Be your best self – for nine seconds, anyway. Overclock fully refills your energy every 1.2 seconds, which lets you keep peeling off secondary shots. Which, by the way, pierce through enemies while your Ultimate is active.

Overwatch 2 Sojourn Tips

Move! You can cover some serious distance with the Power Slide and its jump cancel, and can use this both to traverse the maps and to escape sticky situations. The jump cancel itself gets you seriously high – like, woah, man – and so you can position yourself above the fight for some verticality, or just fall screaming into the enemy team letting off your Disruptor Shot and blasting away. And to that point:

Aim! Sojourn’s Railgun relies a lot on accuracy – this is not a hero for a spray and pray approach to DPS. This is particularly felt when you miss a fully charged secondary fire, which is easily done if you’re not on the ball.

Fire! As detailed above, the Railgun’s secondary fire is charged by hitting opposing heroes, or their shields. The amount of energy stored is visible as number under the crosshair, between 0 and 100. The catch here, however, is that this energy starts to decay after six seconds, so you’ve got to use it or lose it. Enemy tank heroes are a good way to get some charge back in your secondary too, as the more of your bullets they soak up, the closer they’ll be getting you to your next secondary fire.

The Alt-Fire Ult: You can get seven secondary fire shots out over the nine second span of Overclock if you’re really on it, as it takes just over a second for the Ultimate to give you a full charge. But that’s not to say just keep on firing just anywhere – a second is a long time if you’re in the thick of it waiting for a recharge. Keep firing with your primary if in doubt, but take those shots and make it count.

Use the Disruptor Shot strategically: While it may not have the biggest range or damage output, it’s an incredibly versatile tool. The slowdown effect on your enemies, particularly if you manage to snare a group of them, makes lining up those all-important headshots easier, and your team can take advantage of the opponent’s immobility too. Another sound tactic is to throw it at your feet if another player is coming in close, and pair this with the Power Slide to put some distance between you while getting some shots in. One thing to bear in mind however is that the Disruptor Shot has no weight to it at all, and will activate at the end of its 30 metre range (or if it hits something first) having travelled in a straight line from where you threw it. This too can be used to your advantage – for example, hindering a sniper.

Overwatch 2: How to Play Zarya (Abilities, Skins, & Changes)

Zarya is an already-known character that is coming back in Overwatch 2 as part of the game’s roster. Overwatch 2 has brought considerable changes especially for tank characters since now there aren’t two of them in each party. This just gives Zarya the sweet spot to shine as a tank who brings a lot of utility to the team and can change the flow of a match if played correctly.

Zarya’s Abilities

Zarya’s kit is pretty simple, but it will demand from players some experience with the character to better understand the timing for each skill. First, let’s cover our bases going through Zarya’s attacks.

Basically, Zarya fights using the Particle Cannon which holds a total of 100 rounds before needing to reload the weapon. Her Primary Attack is a short-range beam of energy. Since you need to hold the button to use it, the amount of rounds utilized depends on how long you keep it pressed. It’s the best option when fighting other players that engage your team or when pursuing someone, for example.

The Secondary Attack is a grenade of energy. You can reach farther locations depending on the inclination you aim, turning this mode into a great option for poking the enemy team while you are waiting for your cooldowns or to farm your ultimate. The grenades also have the effect of knocking back enemies and they are great to farm your ultimate skill. On the other hand, they are really difficult to hit flying enemies or anyone who can dash, like Genji. It’s important to know that each grenade costs 25 rounds, so keep in mind that for every four shots you are going to need some time to reload your Particle Cannon.

Zarya’s ultimate skill Graviton Surge is a game-changer if used correctly. When activated, she launches an orb that creates a gravity field that pulls enemies to it. This is more of a utility skill, since it doesn’t have the potential to deal a lot of damage by itself.

In terms of skills, Zarya is a pretty straightforward character. Both of her skills are different versions of a bubble-shield. Although they are simple, shields are fundamental to how the character works and her kit. The first one is called Particle Barrier and it’s a shield cast instantaneously to herself. The second skill is the Projected Shield which casts a shield to one of your teammates.

The shields last around two seconds and a half or until they are broken. It’s important to keep in mind that you have up to two shield charges that are split between the first and second skill. So, you can, for example, shield yourself and a teammate at the same time by spending the two charges. However, since each charge has ten seconds of cooldown, it’s important to analyze the situation and avoid spending unnecessary shields.

Both her attacks and skills are strictly connected with one of Zarya’s passive skills.

Zarya receives the passive role skill Tank, making her more resistant against knockbacks. She also generates less ultimate through healing and damage received.

Her second passive is called Energy and this is fundamental to her kit. Thanks to this skill, the Particle Cannon damage increases based on the damage blocked when using one of Zarya’s shields. So, whenever you or a teammate with a shield takes damage, the energy level will increase and both of Zarya’s attacks will deal more damage.

To check how high your energy level is, there are two indicators on the screen. The first is a half-circle with a number in the middle. The second one is the sphere of energy on Zarya’s Particle Cannon that gets bigger depending on the Energy level. Your energy level will begin to decrease after some time without taking damage with a shield up.

More on how to synergize her kit in the Strategy section of this guide.

Overwatch 2 Zarya Changes

In general, Zarya hasn’t changed that much in Overwatch 2. She has become more resistant to damage thanks to her base health having been increased by 50 points and her base shield by 25 points. This is mostly because of the change in the team composition which now has only one tank character.

Besides that, there are other changes in her kit:

  • There are two charges for shields split between the Projected Barrier and the Particle barrier.
  • The shields’ cooldowns begin right after you use the skill.
  • Zarya’s Energy level decreases faster now (2.2 energy every second).

Zarya Strategy and Team Composition

As a Tank, Zarya is supposed to be the front line of the team and mitigate the damage. After the changes that she received for Overwatch 2, she can handle more damage but it all depends on how well you manage your shields. It’s because of the Graviton Surge that Zarya shines, making farming your ultimate top priority. So, your main concern while playing Zarya is to find an angle from where you can throw energy grenades to poke enemies and fill your ultimate.

Because of how her kit works, your secondary goal is to focus on tracking shield availability and Energy level. She won’t do much in battle without a charge of her Particle Barrier to protect herself. Besides that, engaging an enemy with high energy is always the best option.

Try to always call the enemies’ attention and use your shield. When you do that, avoid using a Particle Shield to anticipate damage. Zarya already has a good amount of base shield, so wait until you’re taking damage to cast your skill. The same idea works for the Projected Shield: do not waste it trying to anticipate the damage your teammate is going to take.

Last but not least, knowing when to use your ultimate is key to playing Zarya well. Check your teammates’ ultimates and see if they are ready. Nothing is more frustrating to a Zarya than grabbing four enemies with your ult and having no follow-up.

Now that Zarya takes the seat of the main tank, it’s important to consider that she is not a Reinhardt or a Winston in terms of shielding the group. Because of that, in terms of team composition, Zarya works pretty well with characters with a considerable level of sustainability so they don’t rely totally on her shield.

Donald Trump’s Attorneys Getting Nervous as He Begins ‘Metal Wolf Chaos XD’ Playthrough

NEW YORK — Lawyers on retainer for former U.S. president Donald Trump were reportedly concerned when he began playing Metal Wolf Chaos XD, a game in which a former U.S. president pilots a heavily-armed mech in order to reclaim the White House after being unjustly removed from office.

“He seems really into it,” one attorney, asking to remain anonymous. “I’m worried it might be giving him some ideas. Sometimes when he’s shooting down military helicopters from his presidential battle robot, I’ll hear him mutter ‘that’d show ‘em’ or ‘take that Sleepy Joe’ under his breath. I’m sure he’s simply letting off some steam, but just in case, I am having my paralegals look into if there are any legal precedents for mecha-treason.”

According to those close to the situation, the explosive third-person political shooter has become almost an obsession for Trump.

“In hindsight, I really wish I hadn’t recommended it to him,” remarked another attorney. “All he did yesterday was play Metal Wolf Chaos XD for hours while constantly talking about how he’s ‘going for the take back the White House speedrun.’ I asked if he meant in the game, and he just winked at me before turning back to the TV and firing a rocket launcher at the Statue of Liberty. He keeps saying Mexico is going to pay to build the mech. I don’t even know what that means.”

While his legal team prepares for the worst, members of the Trump family have insisted that the game holds no influence on the former president’s actions.

“These concerns about my father are just overblown liberal nonsense,” insisted Donald Trump Jr. “It’s just a game. Yes, we have invested large amounts of money into robotics engineering ever since Dad beat the level where you rampage through the streets of San Francisco, but that’s just because it’s a really booming industry right now! Also, this is totally unrelated, but you might hear some construction noises coming from underneath Trump Tower over the next few months. Don’t worry about it.”

“If you’re from Saudi Arabia, though, and wanna do a test ride of one of the mechs, hit me up,” Trump Jr added. “It’s so sick.”

At press time, Democrats in Congress were reportedly convening to discuss a potential solution to the problem, introducing legislation that would formally condemn the use of taking over the country with the use of mech suits.

Uh oh! Hard Drive has been compromised: this article is sponsored by Devolver Digital. If you wanna keep an eye on what Trump’s plans are, you’re gonna wanna check out Metal Wolf Chaos XD for yourself.

Overwatch 2: How to Play Mercy (Abilities, Skins, & Changes)

Mercy, the team’s leading doctor, is one of Overwatch’s original support heroes, and while she’s changed a lot since 2016, she hasn’t changed much in the transition to Overwatch 2. Mercy is an ideal support hero for Overwatch beginners. Her various abilities and modes of healing are relatively easy to understand, and players of any level can make a difference with Mercy.

Overwatch 2 Mercy Guide – Weapons & Stats

Overwatch 2 Mercy

Caduceus Staff

Mercy’s staff allows her to heal allies and increase an ally’s damage output. Holding the staff’s primary fire (RT/R2 on a gamepad) allows Mercy to heal one ally at a time as long as they’re in your line of sight and generally close-by. The staff heals 55 damage per second.

You can hold the staff’s secondary fire (RB/R1) to amplify an ally’s damage by 30%. Healing or boosting damage will contribute to Mercy’s Ultimate Ability gauge. The staff locks on to targets, so as long as you aim at an ally and hold the button, Mercy’s staff will latch onto them.

Tanks will require most of your healing since they’ll be soaking up most of the damage. But if an ally like Soldier 76 or Pharah activates their Ultimate Ability, they’ll be vulnerable and might require support. When your team is generally healthy, you should focus on amplifying damage.

Caduceus Blaster

Even though Mercy is a healer, she still has access to an equipable automatic pistol. This means Mercy cannot deal damage while supporting other characters. One blaster projectile deals 20 damage and has a solid rate of fire, so it’s possible to survive one-on-one encounters if your aim is good enough. You should only switch to your pistol if you’re alone or want to finish off an enemy your team is neglecting.

Overwatch 2 Mercy Guide – Abilities

Guardian Angel

If you’re looking at an ally, you’ll be able to fly towards them from a distance. If you’re attached to a teammate through the Caduceus Staff, you won’t need to face them to activate Guardian Angel.

While you’re in flight, a bar on the screen will begin filling up; this gauge measures how far you can leap afterward. If you press the jump button, you’ll launch forward, and if you press the crouch button, you’ll launch upward.

Guardian Angel is an evasive ability. Use it to fly towards your team and away from danger. This ability only has a cooldown of 1.5 seconds, so you should use it regularly to reach allies in critical conditions.

Angelic Descent

While Mercy is in the air, you can hold the jump button to use Angelic Descent to fall very slowly. There’s no cooldown on this ability so you can use it at any time by holding the button it’s assigned to. Angelic Descent is best used in unison with Guardian Angel to stay above the action – watching your teammate’s health while staying away from enemies.

Resurrect

Resurrect is one of the most valuable abilities in the game and spawned one of Overwatch’s most iconic lines: “Heroes Never Die!”

Resurrect allows you to revive an ally to full health before they respawn. It takes 1.75 seconds to cast and it reduces your movement speed drastically. So it leaves Mercy vulnerable to enemies.

Resurrect also has a cooldown of 30 seconds, so use it sparingly. Your main priority with this ability should be your team’s tank since you’ll only have one tank in most modes, which soaks up most of your team’s damage. Apart from tanks, try to resurrect support heroes whenever possible, as they’ll be helping you with healing.

Overwatch 2 Mercy Guide – Passive Abilities

Mercy has two passive abilities in Overwatch 2.

Role: Support

Every support hero in Overwatch 2 receives a passive heal of 10 health per second after 1 second of not being damaged.

Regeneration

Mercy receives even more passive healing than other supports. Mercy receives 20 health per second after 1 second of not being damaged.

Overwatch 2 Mercy Guide – Ultimate Ability: Valkyrie

Overwatch Mercy Valkyrie

Valkyrie is an Ultimate Ability that changes Mercy’s form and movement. For 15 seconds, Mercy can fly in any direction. Mercy’s healing and damage amplification will chain across nearby targets, so you can support your entire team if they’re close together. In addition, movement speed and healing are increased in this mode.

You should activate Valkyrie when your team is together and engaging the enemy team. Mercy’s chain healing or damage amplification will give your team the edge in contentious stand-offs.

Valkyrie has an ultimate cost of 1820. Ultimate charge is dependent on the amount of healing or damage you’ve dealt with a 1:1 ratio. So essentially you’d need to heal 1820 points of health to charge Mercy’s Ultimate. As you can imagine, this means her Ultimate will charge relatively quickly, so don’t save it for too long.

Overwatch 2 Mercy Changes

Overwatch 2 Mercy Blasting

Mercy isn’t a character that has changed all too much since the first Overwatch. The biggest change to the character is perhaps the changes to the Guardian Angel ability, allowing it to become more mobile.

  • Mercy’s Regeneration passive ability has increased by 50% due to the Role: Support ability.
  • Guardian Angel now has a bar on the side that charges in flight for increased mobility. Players can now launch themselves forward or upward during flight.

Overwatch 2 Mercy Guide – Strategy & Team Composition

Mercy can be useful in many situations, but the change to 5v5 in Overwatch 2 has somewhat diminished her standing in the meta. In the original Overwatch, Mercy was a great hero to ensure that both tanks were healed quickly and revived. Now there’s only one tank in competitive, and Mercy’s role is non-essential. Instead, some heroes can keep the main tank healed while dealing lots of damage, like Zenyatta, Ana, and Moira.

Players can use Mercy well alongside various characters. For example, if the second support is Lucio, Mercy can provide faster, targeted healing. Mercy is also helpful alongside Moira since she has great offensive capabilities and might not solely focus on healing the team.

Mercy is an excellent match with several damage heroes too. In the first Overwatch, Pharah and Mercy dominated the meta for months, and that strategy is still viable in the sequel. If there’s an annoying Bastion or Torbjorn behind enemy lines, use Pharah and Mercy to flank them. Mercy will ensure that Pharah doesn’t immediately die. Additionally, when Bastion is in the Assault configuration, he can deal massive damage. If you amplify Bastion while in this mode, you’ll be able to shed through shields and quickly be done with enemy tanks.

Gamer Bummed After Car Uneventfully Runs Over Banana Peel

INDIANAPOLIS — A gamer heading into town to run some errands was sorely disappointed earlier today when they drove over a banana peel and nothing really happened, sources have confirmed.

“Yeah, not what I expected at all,” said Dave Wolfe, the lifelong gamer and occasional driver. “And I mean, it’s not that I necessarily wanted to spin out and go flying into the sidewalk, but like, shouldn’t I have? I just don’t get it. I didn’t necessarily think every part of every video game was accurate, but the banana peel thing seemed to have some good logic behind it. It was in all those old movies and stuff, too.”

“Ah well,” he said, as he entered the grocery store and resumed his day. “Maybe next time.”

Friends of Wolfe’s have expressed concern about his ability to discern between real life and the Nintendo titles he enjoys so much.

“I’m not trying to knock the guy for playing video games,” said Roger Newton, Wolfe’s next door neighbor. “But I’m pretty sure it’s warping his reality, and I don’t want to ride in the car when he’s driving anymore. He’s always throwing coins at the other vehicles on the road and then one time he got out a can of mushrooms and ate it as fast as he could and got sick all over himself. Needless to say, it didn’t provide the speed boost that he had insisted it would.”

As of press time, Wolfe had reportedly crashed into a mailbox on the way home from the store while swerving to hit a turtle he saw.

Genshin Impact: Padisarah Locations

Padisarah, introduced alongside Sumeru update, is a new material in Genshin Impact. Finding it is not necessarily easy considering how massive Sumeru is. Even so, farming Padisarah may come in handy. After all, with patch 3.1, Padisarah is going to become more important, since a new character will need it to ascend.

So, to help you find your way through Genshin Impact’s new region, we have prepared this guide explaining what Padisarah can be useful for as well as where you can find it.

Genshin Impact Padisarah: What Can It Be Used For

Every material found in Genshin Impact is used for something that players will eventually need. Padisarah is not different, since it’s going to be used as an ascension material and to cook some recipes.

This is the character that needs Padisarah to ascend:

  • Nilou – the belly dancer introduced in 3.0’s Archon Quest is a hydro sword-user that is becoming part of the game’s roster of characters during patch 3.1.

In terms of recipes that require Padisarah, there’s a total of four:

  • Biryani
  • Duel Soul
  • Tahchin
  • Padisarah Pudding

Where Can You Find Padisarah

Finding Padisarah may be a little daunting considering how large Sumeru is, but fortunately, they spawn really close to each other making it easier to come up with a time-saving farming route. Each Padisarah has a respawn time of 48 hours.

However, in case you want a quick solution, you can always buy it from  the NPC Jut, the spice merchant, in Sumeru City. He sells each Padisarah for 1000 mora. Keep in mind that he has a stock of 5 which is refilled after 3 days. This is still a good option in case you just want a few Padisarah to cook a food or level up your character.

These are the locations you can find Padisarah in Genshin Impact:.

  • Vanarana

  • Fane of Asvattha and Pardis Dhyai

Genshin Impact Paradisarah

  • Around Sumeru City

  • The Palace of Alcazarzaray

Genshin Impact Paradisarah

Now all you need to do is to prepare your farm routine and keep a good stock of Padisarah.

Overwatch 2: How to Play Kiriko (Abilities, Skins, & More)

Overwatch 2 launched on October 4th with Kiriko as the newest support hero. Kiriko learned the deadly art of ninjutsu from her mother Asa. When the Shimada can fell, Kiriko’s father was taken hostage and Kiriko had to be moved to her grandmother’s home. After years of training in the healing arts, she has returned to take on her enemies.

Overwatch 2 Kiriko’s Abilities

Kiriko Overwatch

Kiriko’s Abilities in Overwatch offer a mix of offensive and defensive capabilities. She is primarily a healer, but her damage output is quite strong. Here is a rundown of all her Abilities.

Wall Climb (Passive): Her passive allows her to jump at walls and climb up them. It is the same passive as Genji and Hanzo, and it gives her added mobility and survivability.

Healing Ofuda (Primary Fire): Her main source of healing is her Healing Ofuda. She can store up to 10 charges that rapidly refresh. You can burst heal by holding down your primary fire button or you can toss them at your allies one at a time. Each talisman heals allies for 13 HP each and throwing them out in a burst heals allies for 26 HP.

Kunai (Secondary Fire): Kiriko’s secondary fire does 40 damage per body shot and 120 damage per headshot and holds up to 12 ammo before needing to reload. Her secondary fire has pinpoint accuracy and can potentially two-tap most heroes in the game.

Swift Step (Ability): Kiriko’s first Ability is Swift Step which allows her to teleport to allies even through other characters. It has a short 7-second cooldown and allows you to traverse up to 35 meters.

Protection Suzu (Ability): Kiriko’s Protection Suzu is an arcing projectile that makes allies immune upon impact. It also cleanses all negative effects and heals allies for 50 HP. The Ability can be used to completely shut down certain Ultimates.

Kitsune Rush (Ultimate): Kiriko’s Ultimate Ability summons a fox spirit that rushes forward and buffs all allies. Kitsune Rush buffs movement speed by 50%, maximum range by 25 meters, rate of fire by 25%, reload time by 50%, and all allied Abilities have a 60% cooldown reduction. The buffs last for 10 seconds.

Overwatch 2 Kiriko Skins

Here are all of the skins available in Overwatch 2 for Kiriko:

  • Athleisure (Legendary)
  • Sukajan (Legendary)
  • Hinotori (Legendary – Battle Pass)
  • Matsuri (Epic)
  • Ajisai (Rare)
  • Fuji (Rare)
  • Take (Rare)
  • Tanpopo (Rare)

Most of Kiriko’s skins can be purchased using legacy Overwatch tokens as well as Overwatch 2 coins. However, the Hinotori skin is exclusive to the Battle Pass. The Sukajan skin for Kiriko can be obtained for free as a Twitch drop from October 7th to October 16th by watching any Overwatch 2 stream on Twitch for six hours.

Overwatch 2 Kiriko Tips

Kiriko is designed as an aggressive support character. She can heal allies, deal tons of damage and buff her teammates. To truly master her, players need to figure out team synergies and develop an understanding of when to use her important Abilities. Here are some tips that can help you master Kiriko in Overwatch 2

Aim for Headshots: It is important to aim for headshots with Kiriko as she has a 3X multiplier to her damage. If you are caught out of position by an enemy or need to take out an important target, always aim for the head. Since your Kunai does increase critical damage you will be able to take most enemies out in just over a second. The hero is very mechanically demanding but she has pinpoint accuracy on her weapon, which should make it easier for you to master the most lethal component of her kit.

Combine Spirit Step with Protection Suzu: Supports can see when their allies have critical health and you can use your Spirit Step to run into allies who are in danger even through walls as long as they are in range. Your Protection Suzu will grant yourself and your ally in danger immunity and you should be able to recuperate from the situation.

Use Protection Suzu to Make Game-Winning Plays: Many Ultimate Abilities can be shut down if you time your Protection Suzu right. You can completely negate all damage from D.Va or Cassidy’s Ultimate or even shut down important Abilities. You should also identify Abilities that do not get cleansed by the Ability which currently include Junkrat’s Steel Trap, Reinhardt’s Charge, Roadhog’s Chain Hook, Sigma’s Gravitic Flux, and Zarya’s Graviton Surge.

You can also enable plays with Protection Suzu by setting up Abilities for your teammates. If we use Earthshatter as an example, Reinhardt is typically prone to getting his Ultimate Ability canceled by other heroes. By making Reinhardt immune for a short duration, he can pull off his Ultimate without any disruption.

Combine Kitsune Rush With Other Abilities: Kitsune Rush can make already devastating Abilities and Ultimates become even more lethal. Storm Arrows and Whole Hog receive a massive fire rate buff which allows them to deal increased damage in a shorter duration. However, there are some inconsistencies and abilities like Particle Barrier, Projected Barrier, and Sentry Turret do not receive

When Should You Play Kiriko?

Kiriko is suitable for all maps but she works best in more aggressive team compositions. Her healing output is not that high compared to Ana or Moira but she can definitely hold her own. If your team’s other healer is a Lucio or Zenyatta, then it can be difficult to go up against enemy teams that have a lot of splash damage.

Her Protection Suzu can save your team in a pinch and she is hard to kill thanks to Spirit Dash which can get her away from danger. She is arguably on par with Lucio and Zenyatta in terms of utility and is a strongly recommended pick if you want to play her. However, the meta needs to settle down before we truly realize where she is positioned among the current roster of healers.

Wii U Web Browser Used One Last Time to List Wii U on eBay

MINNEAPOLIS — A local gamer unearthed his long idle Nintendo Wii U and used its web browser one last time to list it on eBay, sources have confirmed.

“Wow, this is ironic,” said Troy McNeil, as he used his Wii U gamepad to take a picture of the Wii U system. “Not so much that I’m using it to post it on eBay with its own web browser, but I guess that I’m using it at all. Maybe ‘ironic’ isn’t the right word. It’s uh, it’s ‘weird’ to be using it. Maybe ‘annoying’ is the word. Oh god damn it, it’s making me enter my password on this awful tablet controller thing. I can’t talk and do this shit at the same time, okay?”

Roommates who thought they’d seen the last of the Wii U were shocked to hear of it once again.

“Wow, fuck that thing,” said Simon Downs, a former housemate of McNeil’s. “For like a solid six months there he was trying to convince us it was a fun system with good hardware. What a rough six months, man. It’s pretty weird that he’s using it to sell itself, huh? This is like the time he drove his car across town to the guy that was buying it off of him.”

“He had to walk home in the snow,” he added, laughing.

As of press time, the console had been successfully listed for sale, in a post that simply reads, “For sale, Wii U, hardly played.”

Overwatch 2 Best Heroes – Tier List

Overwatch 2 just launched and Blizzard has spent months fine-tuning the abilities of all the characters and some of them even got complete reworks. With the game shifting to a 5v5 format instead of 6v6, a lot of heroes have seen a shift in their place in the meta. Here is our day-one tier list that tries to highlight where each hero stands in the current meta.

Overwatch 2 Tier List

Overwatch 2 tier list

  • S-Tier: Lucio, Winston, Zarya, Sigma, Genji
  • A-tier: Zenyatta, Baptiste, Brigitte, D.Va, Roadhog, Reinhardt, Wrecking Ball, Reaper, Soldier: 76, Tracer, Sojourn, Sombra, Ashe, Echo
  • B-Tier: Ana, Orisa, Hanzo, Bastion, Junkrat, Pharah, Cassidy, Torbjorn, Widowmaker
  • C-Tier: Mercy, Doomfist, Junker Queen, Symmetra
  • D-Tier: Moira

Kiriko has not been placed on this tier list as she was just released and a lot of players have not unlocked her yet. My current impressions of Kiriko based on my personal experience are very positive. She is arguably one of the strongest healers in the game and might be on the same level as Zenyatta in the A-tier. However, it is too early to tell as players are still figuring out her kit. We will have a better understanding of the hero soon.

Overwatch 2’s Best Heroes: S-Tier Hero Breakdown

Lucio is arguably the best healer in the game right now, but it might not be for the reasons you think. DPS heroes gain 25% increased reload and movement speed upon securing an elimination and it stacks with Lucio’s Speed Boost. This has enabled a much more aggressive playstyle and it synergizes perfectly with traditional “dive comps” that are still popular.

Winston, Zarya, and Sigma are the three best tanks in the game and are capable of holding their own in fights. With one less tank slot in Overwatch 2, these three tanks are the premier options in most situations and you should master them if possible.

Genji is one of the biggest winners of the latest balance patch as he already had enhanced movement speed and it pairs well with the new DPS passive. With most forms of crowd control being removed from the game, he has fewer counters than ever before.

A-Tier Hero Breakdown

Zenyatta, Brigitte, and Baptiste are the best options among supports to pair with Lucio. All of them have their unique strengths and are better suited for fast-paced 5v5 combat compared to healers like Ana or Mercy.

Tanks are very strong in Overwatch 2 and D.Va, Roadhog, Wrecking Ball and Reinhardt find themselves comfortably sitting in the A-tier. All three options are great and might be better than our S-tier picks in certain situations.

It comes as no surprise that several hitscan heroes have found themselves in the A-tier. With fewer shields in the game, DPS heroes are free to lay down damage on the enemy team, and very few do it better than our picks in the A-tier. Soldier, Sojourn, Ashe, and Echo are among the most consistent options available in the game right now.

Tracer and Sombra on the other hand offer a lot of flanking potential in Overwatch 2. Reaper’s tank-busting potential is higher than ever with his Wraith Form pairing well with the DPS speed buff passive along with Lucio and Kiriko’s speed buffs.

Overwatch 2 B-tier Hero Breakdown

The B-tier is meant for situational heroes who can be very powerful provided you have the necessary synergy. Pharah is the best example of this as she is not as effective as other DPS heroes in the higher tiers on her own. However, if you pair her with Mercy, she can be one of the most powerful DPS heroes in the game as she gets constant access to a damage buff or healing at all times.

The same goes for Widowmaker, Junkrat, and other heroes in this tier. Some of them shine on specific maps while being mediocre in others. But in the right hands, heroes like Widowmaker and Cassidy can put in work. Your personal mastery of these heroes comes into play here.

Overwatch 2 C-tier Hero Breakdown

Overwatch 2 Best Heroes

Doomfist and Junker Queen received significant changes before Overwatch 2’s release and both of them feel like they do not have a place in the meta. Junker Queen was the number one tank and arguably the best hero in the game in competitive Overwatch for months. Pro players got to use her at her maximum potential, but it forced a stale meta and Blizzard was forced to nerf her. Doomfist on the other hand got reworked from a DPS into a tank and is just underwhelming compared to other options.

Mercy offers little utility on her own and only when is she paired with heroes like Ashe or Pharah does she offer more solid value. Other supports outperform in most situations. Symmetra received multiple reworks over the years and even in Overwatch 2, she is in an awkward situation where every DPS option outperforms her.

 D-tier Hero Breakdown

Moira is the only hero in this tier and it is because of several nerfs to her kit. The nerfs feel too aggressive and she offers no real value aside from her above-average healing and survivability. But if you enjoy playing her and want to take on the occasional DPS Moira role, feel free to use her.

Which Heroes Should You Play?

The tier list is designed as a subjective look into the meta. Your personal playstyle preferences and mastery of a hero dictate what you should play. While choosing the best heroes in the game might be the most obvious choice, you may have mastered other heroes or simply enjoy playing specific heroes more. The game is all about fun and you can most definitely make low-tier heroes work provided you put in the time to work around their weaknesses.
