‘All Ego’ was in the main event against the NXT Champion Williams, with his coveted title on the line.

Former WWE Superstar appears at NXT Battleground

A former WWE Superstar appeared at the NXT Battleground 2024 Premium Live Event tonight from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

TNA star Ash By Elegance, formerly Dana Brooke in WWE, appeared during the NXT Women’s Championship match.

Tatum Paxley appeared from the crowd and grabbed the TNA Knockouts Championship, distracting Jordynne Grace who went to the entranceway to confront her when Ash By Elegance appeared to try and grab the title from Paxley.

This seems to confirm that we’ll be getting Paxley at the upcoming TNA Against All Odds PPV event, but it could be a triple-threat match for the TNA Knockouts belt between Tatum, Jordynne and Ash By Elegance.

It was an unprecedented sight, seeing a title holder from a different promotion challenging for an active WWE Championship at a Premium Live Event.

Oba Femi, Wes Lee and Joe Coffey collided in a triple-threat match for the North American Title at NXT Battleground tonight, but who won the contest?

This was Wes Lee’s first PLE match back in some time, with the former NA Champion getting injured back in 2023 and needing to be out for some time.

Oba Femi took the win to retain his title after hitting two Pop-Up Powerbombs on both Coffey and Wes Lee. The man is a walking wrecking ball it’s awesome.

The official WWE X/Twitter posted a video of the two Hall of Famers meeting backstage ahead of the action from the Premium Live Event.

HBK seemed in awe of the former UFC Light Heavyweight fighter, saying that he “set the bar” in the sport, most likely referring to his Ultimate Fighter final bout against Stephen Bonnar all those years ago.

Both women are former mixed martial arts fighters, so this Underground match was the first between two former cage-fighting names.

WWE News: A former UFC Champion made an appearance in the crowd at the NXT Battleground event from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brandon Moreno, former UFC Flyweight Champion, was shown in the crowd ahead of the NXT Underground match between Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler.

Moreno was the first Mexican Champion in the history of the UFC, and he was able to capture the Flyweight Championship on multiple occasions.

WWE and UFC are now both under the TKO Holdings Group banner, so there will likely be even more crossover between the two companies going forward.

WWE News: A TNA Wrestling legend has been spotted in the crowd at the NXT Battleground event from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Adrian Hernandez of the 98.5 KLUC radio station in Vegas took to X/Twitter to post an image of Gail Kim in the building watching the NXT North American Women’s Championship ladder match.

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will be on the show tonight, so it is interesting that another major name from Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is also in attendance.

It is not currently known if Gail Kim will be appearing on camera.

Michin, Fallon Henley, Lash Legend, Sol Rouca, Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan all competed in a ladder match to determine the new Champion.
