How To Unlock The Metal Smelter Recipe In LEGO Fortnite
The Metal Smelter recipe is unlocked by upgrading your Village to Level 9 in LEGO Fortnite. This requires:
- 15 Flexwood
- 15 Obsidian
- 10 Cut Amber
All three resources can be sourced from the Dry Valley biome, aka the desert. Venture into the same Lava Caves from which you would mine Brightcore in order to find Obsidian. Amber should be readily available for mining in the open world as well, while Flexwood can be harvested from the cacti.
Once you have upgraded your Village to Level 9, the recipe for the Metal Smelter should automatically unlock under the Utility tab.

- 35 Obsidian Slab
- 3 Blast Core
