Drew McIntyre Makes Big Claim Ahead of WWE WrestleMania XL

Drew McIntyre has made a big claim ahead of his WWE WrestleMania XL match against Seth Rollins tonight from Philly.

During an interview with Byron Saxton during a WWE World event, McIntyre revealed that he will “quit WWE” if he can’t beat Seth Rollins tonight.

“I’ve been doing this since I was 15-years-old. It’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. It was my part-time job in high school and through university” McIntyre began (via SEScoops).

“I’m a wrestler, I’ve always been a professional wrestler. I was signed to WWE at 21-years-old, fired at 29, truly found myself, came back and became the man, the Superstar I am today.

Drew McIntyre Claims He Will “Quit WWE” If He Can’t Beat Rollins

“I’ve never been better, I’m in my prime in the ring, I’m in my prime on the microphone, because I’m just myself” McIntyre continued.

“I just realized, ‘Drew, be yourself,’ and social media, don’t come at me on that thing, I’ll tear you to shreds on social media, I’ve never been better all around. But, if I can’t beat Seth Rollins on Sunday, I quite frankly don’t belong in this industry, I’ll quit WWE.”

The Rock Hints At Future WWE Matches Beyond WrestleMania XL

After a pretty impressive in-ring return at WWE WrestleMania XL, The Rock has hinted at having more matches going forward.

Speaking at the WrestleMania Night 1 post-show press conference, Dwayne Johnson hinted that there would be more matches in his future:

“There might be. Can’t elaborate that much on that but there might be. I love what I do and I love our business. I was born into our business as you guys know so we’ll see” he revealed (via SEScoops).

“My number one priority was ‘Can I come back and add real value this time around’ and not you know, coming back for hot shots one at a time maybe, making an appearance one night. That’s fun. That’s fun for the fans, but I wanted something a little bit more, a lot more substantial. Not only a lot more substantial but something that we can really build upon.

“And so these past two, three months, I think we’ve been laying groundwork nicely, and not only building for WrestleMania this weekend, but also I think beyond that and building for the future and what that could look like.”

Will The Rock Wrestle Again?

So while we don’t have a definitive answer to that, we can say that it very much looks like we’ll be seeing The Rock in the ring once again, likely facing Cody Rhodes and or Roman Reigns at some point.

Triple H Makes Massive Brock Lesnar Claim

Triple H made a huge claim with regards to Brock Lesnar and his current status as a WWE Superstar following recent allegations.

Lesnar appeared to be implicated in the lawsuit involving Vince McMahon, and many fans believed that he was now gone from the company completely.

Speaking at the WrestleMania XL Night 1 Post-Show Press Conference, Triple H confirmed that Lesnar is still signed with the company:

“At one point, there was a conversation with Brock about Royal Rumble, quite a long time ago” Hunter revealed (via SEScoops). Right now, Brock is at home being Brock. We’ll see where that leads from here. His status is the same as it has been before. Brock is not gone from WWE. He’s just home being Brock.”

Has Brock Lesnar left WWE?

So as it turns out, Brock Lesnar has not yet actually left the company, despite many believing that he would be following recent allegations.

There is currently no indication as to when he could be returning, although Triple H and Co would probably want to get him in as soon as possible, potentially even for SummerSlam.

We’ll hopefully find out more in the coming weeks regarding ‘The Beast Incarnate’ and his future plans with the company.

Man Thinks Games Were Better When He Was Blind to Their Blatant Political Themes

MADISON, Wis. — Long time gamer Brett Hansen announced today that games were better before he managed to finally figure out their blatant political themes, according to social media posts.

“Nowadays every game has some hamfisted political theme which I catch on to maybe 200 or 300 hours into the game,” Hansen posted online. “Remember when Helldivers 2 was just about killing bugs? Now I hear it’s also got political stuff.”

Ex-coworkers of Hansen say not being able to detect the main themes in media and elsewhere has been a recurring theme in his life, which he has not detected.

“I worked with Brett at Walmart. Three years in he said, ‘This place was a lot more fun before it was all about making money,’” Dan Saunders, who worked as a cashier along with Hansen, said. “Then he went into this whole diatribe about how he overheard our manager talking about meeting sales goals and that tipped him off to the idea. I was in that meeting. We had it weekly, it was very direct.”

Family said Hansen has struggled with the issue for quite some time.

“He’s a good kid,” Brad Hansen, Brett’s father said. “Not everyone is quick on their feet but we love him. Growing up we’d always watch the Godzilla movies together. I love those memories we have. But the other day he told me he wasn’t going to watch any more of the movies now that they’re about, ‘woke nuclear and environmentalist stuff.’”

At press time Hansen announced that ultimately gaming had just become too steeped in woke ideology, and so instead he plans to turn to some message-free music by the band Rage Against The Machine.

WWE WrestleMania XL Night 2 Predictions: Cody vs Roman and More

WWE WrestleMania XL Night 2 looks like it could be one of the biggest nights in wrestling in all of 2024, but what are our predictions for the card?

WWE WrestleMania XL Night 2 Predictions

Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns – Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match

With The Rock and Roman winning on Night 1, this match will now be contested under Bloodline Rules. We’re expecting some guest appearances during this match, and overall Cody will win and finish the story.

Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins – World Heavyweight Championship Match

McIntyre enters the match 100%, whereas Seth took a hell of a beating on Night 1 during the main event, so it’s time for the title to change and for Drew to get his WrestleMania moment in front of an arena audience.

Six-Man Tag Philadelphia Street Fight – Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits vs Final Testament

Unfortunately, this match is quite the nothing-burger, so really either team could win. We’re predicting that Final Testament will take the win here.

Iyo Sky vs Bayley – WWE Women’s Championship Match

WWE are clearly hoping to utilise Bayley more going forward, and a massive win here will be the start of her super push. This could be one of the best matches of the weekend, so hopefully they get enough time to create a spectacle.

Logan Paul vs Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens – WWE United States Championship Match

This is actually a pretty difficult match to predict, but considering that WWE is really pushing this PRIME partnership deal, we can see Logan getting the sneaky win and continuing his run as Champion.

LA Knight vs AJ Styles

This is another pretty difficult match to predict, as both men are well-tenured and in their 40s. Having said that, we think that LA Knight will get the win here.
