The Thaumaturge gets a large patch on March 29, 2024, with 1.0.3 addressing dozens of bugs and other issues. Patch notes below:

The Thaumaturge March 29 Patch 1.0.3
Stability:
- FSR3 plugin has been updated to newer version that introduces stability improvements, reduces crashes and makes the game play smoother;
- Fixed the issue where reloading some saves during combat scenes could lead to crashes;
- Fixed the issue where framerate could drop significantly when interacting with view points;
- More improvements to overall stability that should reduce instances of random crashes.
General issues and improvements:
- Fixed an extremely rare issue where Player could lose the ability to interact with and/or do anything when in gameplay;
- Fixed the issue where “Thaumaturge” achievement could not be unlocked if the last achievement before it was of quantitative nature (do X action Y amount of time);
- Fixed the issue where confirmation window after changing game resolution could not be dismissed with keyboard and/or controller;
- Fixed the issue where collecting a clue near a door, could lead to said door becoming inactive while playing on a controller;
- Fixed the issue where D-Pad Up and Down buttons became inactive when the game was paused while the in-game “shout” was playing;
- Fixed the issue where exploration camera was shown for a brief moment when changing haircuts at barber;
- Fixed the issue where pressing Y button on a controller closed the tutorial windows instead of opening it;
- Fixed redundant map icons present in the top left corner of the map;
- Fixed the issue where Bukavac could become invisible after specific sequence of attacks;
- Fixed z-fighting textures on a wall at Szulski’s;
- Fixed instances of missing translations;
- Improvements for animations and clipping issues across multiple scenes;
- UI improvements;
- Navigation improvements;
- Collision improvements.
Quest related issues:
- Fixed the issue where A Life Stolen (Front Page) side quest could not be completed;
- Fixed the issue where Here We Go Again side quest could not be completed;
- Fixed the issue where Player could get stuck in UI after certain combination of inputs at the very beginning of The Mermaid City’s Son main quest;
- Fixed the issue where Wiktor’s model was hovering about the bench in mausoleum during The Mermaid City’s Son main quest;
- Fixed the issue where redundant NPCs were present during vision sequence in The Reptilian Bash main quest;
- Fixed the issue where models in the cinematic were of low quality during To Dust, You Shall Return main quest if graphics settings were below High;
- Fixed the issue where defeating an enemy with Wiktor’s strong attack showed out of bounds area during To Dust, You Shall Return main quest;
- Fixed the issue where redundant props could be present in the middle of combat area in To Dust, You Shall Return main quest;
- Fixed the issue where it was possible to move in the background of a conclusion in the Shadows of Sins Past main quest;
- Fixed the issue where exploration camera was visible for a brief moment in the Shadows of Sins Past main quest;
- Fixed the issue where two Upyr models could be present during one of the Epilogues;
- Fixed the issue where A Fourth for the Bridge main quest could be tracked while in the dream sequence;
- Fixed the issue where redundant generic encounter could be triggered once again after completing They’re Alive side quest;
- Fixed the issue where telephone’s receiver and cable were missing during Wiktor’s approach in The Reptilian Bash main quest;
- Fixed the issue where 'Port Praga' and 'Nożyk Synagogue' urban secrets lead to undiscovered locations;
- Fixed the issue where there was no objective trail during The Price of Friendship side quest after certain steps;
- Fixed the issue where an NPC could become frozen during key scene in the Horses in the Sky side quest;
- Fixed the issue where there was no objective trail during Front Page side quest after certain steps;
- Fixed the issue where there could be a confusion with objective trails in A Great Uproad main quest after certain steps.
