The Thaumaturge gets a large patch on March 20, 2024, with 1.0.2 addressing dozens of bugs and other issues. Patch notes below:

The Thaumaturge March 20 Patch 1.0.2

Stability:
  • - Framerate Limit option has been introduced to decrease cases of using too much resources which should improve the overall stability and performance (default and recommended value is 75 FPS);
  • - Improvements to overall stability that should reduce cases of random freezes and crashes.

 

General issues and improvements:
  • - Fixed the issue where creating quick saves between scenes could lead to black screens;
  • - Fixed the issue where random encounter at Port Praski could have been started during any time of day instead of night which resulted in black screen;
  • - Fixed the issue where Difficulty level could randomly change to Challenge despite being at other, lower levels;
  • - Fixed issues with some Achievements’ description;
  • - Fixed the issue where some of Wiktor’s attack animations played incorrectly;
  • - Fixed the issue where input was not disabled in the background while a tutorial was opened in UI tabs resulting in tutorial videos displaying black image;
  • - Fixed the issue where changing to any tab from Thaumaturgy Development tab resulted in attack videos displaying black image;
  • - Fixed the issue where interacting with a viewpoint could reset all the clues in the area;
  • - Fixed instances of missing translations;
  • - Fixed instances of incorrect text formatting;
  • - Fixed instances of discrepancies between VO and written texts;
  • - Improvements for animations across multiple scenes;
  • - UI improvements;
  • - Navigation improvements;
  • - Collision improvements.

 

Quest related issues:
  • - Fixed the issue where fast travel point (carriage) could be missing at the beginning of the Third Act, blocking progress;
  • - Fixed the issue where Players could have been blocked during The Art of Dying side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where black screen could occur during The Price of Friendship side quest;
  • - Fixed a conditional blocker during To Dust, You Shall Return main quest if manipulation on certain NPC was performed;
  • - Fixed the issue where interaction with Rasputin was not available during At the Crossroads main quest;
  • - Fixed an exploit where it was possible to increase Proud points during They're Alive side quest;
  • - Fixed a few issues where certain choices during The Price of Friendship side quest used incorrect logic;
  • - Fixed the issue where redundant objective lead to an inactive NPC during The Price of Friendship side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where The Price of Friendship side quest could be blocked if Front Page side quest was started in the meantime;
  • - Fixed the issue where trail lead to an incorrect phone during Front Page side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where Upyr behaved incorrectly at the beginning of the fight in Fearless side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where manipulation could have become unavailable after meeting certain conditions during Dangerous Friends main quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where visiting barber during The Reptilian Bash side quest before the objective appeared, made said objective redundant;
  • - Fixed the issue with Rasputin’s model incorrect loop during Shadows of Sins Past main quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where Wiktor’s shouts, regarding nearby clues, triggered at any time of day instead of night during They're Alive side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where Upyr’s model could persist during the fight if manipulation was unlocked during To Dust, You Shall Return main quest;
  • - Fixed the issue with redundant trail during A Great Uproar main quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where Flaw could not be obtained if objectives were completed in certain order during They're Alive side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where two Ligia models could be present at the same time during Cognitive Function side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where an NPC could be doubled during Front Page side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where a redundant objective remained active during Front Page side quest;
  • - Fixed a few logic issues with Front Page and Cognitive Function side quests;
  • - Fixed an interaction issue with an NPC during Horses in the Sky side quest;
  • - Fixed an interaction issue with a collectible during Waiting for a Miracle main quest if playing on mouse and keyboard;
  • - Fixed an interaction issue with a carriage during Front Page side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue with doubled NPCs after the fight during The Price of Friendship side quest;
  • - Fixed the issue with missing trail of a certain objective during Close to the Apple Tree main quest;
  • - Fixed the issue with incorrect entry about Wanda during The Mermaid City's Son main quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where certain conclusion could not be drawn during Bastards of the Night main quest;
  • - Fixed the issue where a certain dialogue choice degraded Rasputin’s attitude by too much during Devil’s Gambit main quest.
