Dragon’s Dogma 2 had some significant design oversights upon launch, including the lack of a simple method to start a new game with an active save in place. This and several graphical improvements have been introduced in the update on March 29, 2024, as well as several unnamed bug fixes.
The complete public patch notes are below. PlayStation 5 specific patch notes are specified. Xbox Series X|S players will likely have the same console-specific changes, but the update itself has not been released as of this time.

We have released an update including the following modifications and fixes:
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Do You Need To Play The First Dragon’s Dogma
Adding the option to start a new game when save data already exists.
Changing the number of "Art of Metamorphosis" items available at Pawn Guilds in the game to 99.
Making the quest that allows players to acquire their own dwelling (where they can save and rest) available earlier in the game.
Improving quality when DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION is enabled. Steam PC only.
Fixing an issue related to the display of models under some specific settings. Steam PC only.
Miscellaneous text display issues.
Miscellaneous bug fixes.
Playstation 5 And Xbox Series X|S
Adding the option to switch Motion Blur on/off in Options.
Adding the option to switch Ray Tracing on/off in Options.
Adding the option to set Frame Rate at Max 30fps in Options.
