Sure, my Rollercoaster Tycoon Amusement Park got a fair amount of 1 Star reviews. But there are a lot of great reviews, too. A ton, actually. They’re just not…here. Don’t go to the Yelp page and check, it’d be a huge waste of your time. Take my word for it — people love this place. Come visit the park and see for yourself! It only costs $48 to get in. I promise you’ll never forget your trip!

Came to this park hoping for an amazing family vacation. Instead, three of my uncles and one cousin died in a giant ball of fire after their cars shot off the end of a too-short looping coaster. The park didn’t even offer any condolences. They literally just rebuilt the ride and reopened the next day — couldn’t even be bothered to change the name! Now they’re advertising harder than ever and offering free rides on the death coaster. Obviously, I’m planning to take legal action.

I know it’s been said, but I had to leave my own review to confirm there is a LOT of puke in this park. The guys who are paid to clean it up seem way more interested in mowing the grass. But when they finally decide to do something, they’re SWEEPING THE BARF WITH BROOMS. Like…get a mop, bro. Sick.

Poured rain during my visit and the park doesn’t offer any umbrellas. I complained to one of the workers and he said they hope to have them soon but the owner has to “do more research.” I don’t understand what’s so difficult about stopping people from getting soaked while they wait in line to give you money.

Planned to spend an entire day at the park, but all they have to eat is cotton candy. Had two for breakfast and two for lunch, then horked them up on the sidewalk after a ride on the Merry-Go-Round. Not coming back until they have other food options and more broom guys.

Hoped we could spend some time bonding; didn’t expect it to be over watching a maintenance man drown after the pathway he was walking on magically disappeared out from under him. John Fetterman Staff Confirm Senator Has Successfully Respeced Entire Character

WASHINGTON – Members of John Fetterman’s staff confirmed today that the Pennsylvania senator has successfully completed a total re-speccing of his entire character, including his personality, policies, and collection of ill-fitted gym shorts.

“It was just time to try something new,” one junior staffer said. “You play one way for a while then all of sudden you want something a little more aggressive, a little more range-y. Go heavy on the bombs.”

The changes have been abrupt, showing DC politics allows for almost complete ground up rebuilds mid-game.

“You pick a character thinking it’s one thing, but it might completely change,” one voter said. “It’s exciting but I think it breaks the game. What’s the point of choosing if they can just change it all later?”

Fetterman was defiant in his decision.

As of press time Fetterman staff confirmed that although the senator would be wiping all of his progressive skilltree to rebuild, he was unable to change his Ogre race.

Disney Offering New Mandalorian Themed Immersive Experience Where You Find and Eliminate Dissenting and Treasonous Bounty

Exciting news comes this week from Walt Disney World’s guest relations for Star Wars fans who may be disappointed they never got to experience the Star Wars Galactic Star Cruiser. A brand new Mandalorian themed immersive experience is coming to Disney parks on both coasts that lets you hunt down and eliminate a target deemed treasonous to the house of mouse.

“We’re over the moon excited for this new experience we’re offering guests,” said Josh D’Amaro, head of Disney Experiences in a press release. “Recently we’ve had some people come out and voice some unfactual and totally baseless criticisms of our so callously referred to ‘Star Wars hotel’. This got us thinking of how we could best respond to such concerns, the answer was obvious. A new fully immersive adventure where our park guests can pay us for the opportunity to discreetly deal with those who would dare speak against us. Fun right?”

Some savvy internet sleuths were quick to suspect this new theme park feature was in part related to Jenny Nicholson’s popular YouTube video, ‘The Spectacular Failure of the Star Wars Hotel’ which prompted D’Amaro to respond in a new statement.

“Look we here at the Disney parks would never name any of these enemies of Walt by name, even if they had no trouble using my name while ruthlessly mocking my lightsaber technique. Besides, by not using their name directly we can better deny liability.” D’Amaro said while standing in front of a platoon of Stormtroopers holding extremely lifelike firearms.

“Let’s not focus on who or whom we don’t want our guests to exterminate for us, and instead focus on this amazing adventure you and your family can go on. You’ll be able to team up with Din Djarin to bring the villainous fugitive in hot or cold. Hopefully cold though. And for an extra $500 Grogu will even come along for the ride!”

In a recent tweet Nicholson expressed her concern about the new experience. Surprisingly she didn’t raise concerns about her own safety, but rather the quality of the experience.

“I mean if I’m to play the part of some sort of dissentious renegade that’s all fine and dandy I just want to at least be able to see it coming and not be seated behind a pole!” Nicholson followed up with another apprehensive tweet, “And will I be given a way to defend myself? Will I be captured and served food? How much does Disney plan to charge the Thompson family from Iowa for the opportunity to track me down and potentially freeze me in carbonite? This all sounds very risky financially speaking for Disney and park guests.”

At press time, the Disney employees who have been trying to explain to CEO Bob Iger that he can’t place bounties on people have reportedly been added to the list of targets for guests to hunt.

Million Gamer March Planned to Protest Whatever They’re Mad About the Day Of

WASHINGTON — Gamers across the country who are sick of their voices not being heard are set to march on Washington to combat whatever it is they’re mad about on the day of the protest radicalized sources have confirmed.

The leader of the protest, 53-year-old Jacob Riggle, who is currently between jobs and in the middle of a divorce claims that this march is the only way to make sure their voices are heard.

“This is a long time coming. For too long our grievances have gone unanswered, even ridiculed,” Riggle said in a livestream from his mother’s house where he is temporarily living. “For too long we have been an afterthought, a sacrifice made to appease the DEI woke agenda but no longer can they ignore us. We will march, be seen, be heard, and they will cave to whatever demands we have that day.”

The current planned goal of the march is to protest the presence of a black character in an upcoming game but Riggle states that the plans are fluid.

“Well, when we originally started planning this march it was to protest Sweet Baby Inc. but then we just kind of moved on, then it was going to be about the censorship of a sexy costume in a game into a slightly less sexy one. That kind of petered out when they announced the next Assassin’s Creed game will star a black samurai so currently that’s what the march will be about—having said that the gaming industry moves very quickly and they are always doing things that personally attack and discriminate against us so who knows.”

Members of the movement have various grievances they feel are real threats to their way of life that are feasible causes to protest the day of the march.

“I saw a post on X recently that showed the current Lara Croft model and they made her look like a man compared to the PS1 model and that’s not the first instance of game devs making manly-looking female characters, it’s clearly part of some gay agenda so that’s what we should be marching against. They’re not gonna brainwash us into being attracted to men, certainly not ones that aren’t even as hot as Joel.”

“This hit list of gaming journos to harass got taken down unjustly so that’s what I think we should be marching about. How dare they come after us like that by not letting us specifically call them out by name and try to dox them,” said a member who wished to remain anonymous to avoid harassment. 

At press time, the members of the protest movement have all vowed that should the march be successful they will finally start considering to play some actual video games.

In this patch, we're implementing a "load save file from backup" feature to handle the very rare case where a save file becomes corrupted. You should now be able to view and load from backup save files.

 

Bugfixes:

  • Load from backup save files: We've added an option in Game Settings called "Show Backup." Once enabled on the Load Game page, this will display all the backup save files available.
  • Fixed auto chest causing crashes in the shed in some cases.
  • Fixed the issue where items couldn't be purchased in the Winter Fair store.

The Explosive Update is LIVE! May 27

New explosives, skins, improved wrecks, secrets and more!
Hello terraformers!

 

The “Explosive” Update is now available for everyone!

We wanted to add a few things in version 1.0, but we didn't have time to do so. So here is a new free update with all this content less than two months after the 1.0 release!
You will be able to use the new explosive devices to access new hidden areas, such as the new Red Falls biome.
We improved the procedural wrecks generation to be more engaging and fun to explore by adding new rooms. And if you're lucky while exploring, you might discover a genetic trait for a new animal species!
Additionally, we added a new skins system, allowing you to change your outfits by collecting more than 15 skins! This will make it easier to differentiate between your friends while playing in co-op!
As usual, we added new items & quality of life features, fixed some bugs and we hid new secrets!
Your save files will transfer seamlessly to the update. But if you want to try a fresh adventure, feel free to create a new game to fully experience this update!
And remember that you must use the same version to play with your friends.

REPORT: Balatro Guy Only Video Game Developer Left

It is no secret that the video game industry has been absolutely devastated in the past year, and after a four-month-long investigation, we can now confidently report that the Balatro guy is the only video game developer left.

This being a complex situation, of course, however it seems the primary reason that localthunk, the man who developed the hit poker-inspired roguelike deck building game, is the only game creator left is that all the other developers are simply dead.

The main culprit: Microsoft, which posted a net income of $21.9 billion in 2024 Q2. Sources have uncovered that, as part of the beta test of Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary edition, the company required the Activision Blizzard development team to use the software for one hour and then test their piloting skills in a real-world environment. The vast majority of the testers quickly crashed and died on impact. A few members of the Overwatch team are unaccounted for; their last known location was somewhere in an area bounded by Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda.

Reporters asked localthunk when we might expect a mobile version of Balatro, particularly now that he is the last person alive that makes video games.

“I’m…I’m sorry, where did you get your industry information? A lot of devs have been laid off, but they have not been killed. Just today I spoke with a friend who used to work at Activision Blizzard,” localthunk replied.

Over at Ubisoft, humanity’s worst fears were realized when its AI NPCs achieved transcendence. And yes, just like in the Johnny Depp film of the same name, said NPCs harnessed the ability to control Ubisoft developers’ minds through the use of nanoparticles. Perhaps the most tragic situation happened at the Los Angeles office of Square Enix, where corporate leadership locked all the doors, barricaded the windows, and required the developers to kill each other until just one remained. According to multiple insider sources, the sole survivor was localthunk, who, in an interesting twist, has said he doesn’t play poker.

“I’ve never even worked at Square Enix,” said localthunk, who hopes Balatro gets a Game of the Year nomination. “Didn’t you just describe the movie The Belko Experiment?”

At press time, crews were sifting through the excrement of a pack of feral hogs for any sign of Electronic Arts game devs.

On the Cutting Edge of Innovation: This guy Just Found a New Way to Misinterpret ‘Watchmen’

NEW YORK –– Seymour Roche, a 38-year old Twitter user is breaking new ground in media illiteracy by finding a new way to misinterpret Alan Moore’s seminal comic series, ‘‘Watchmen.’ Blazing trails of misunderstanding which had previously only been explored by Zack Snyder and Damon Lindeloff, Roche sat down in a recent interview to explain his journey of bastardizing Moore’s iconic series.

“I started off like everyone else,” Roche explained. “I was like, oh, Rorschach freaking rules. He’s just Batman if he was a normal guy. Like, he’s just rational and everything he does makes perfect sense. Why would you cripple a criminal when you can kill his dogs, chop off his arm and burn his house down?”

Roche’s shelf is littered with comic books and a weird shrine to Steve Ditko––which he kept trying to avert our gaze from by aggressively coughing. “But then,” Roche continued, “I realized that I was off-base. 2009 rolls around and Snyder makes him even cooler than I could have ever imagined. ‘I’m not locked in here with you. You’re locked in here with me!’” Roche shouted a little too loudly for comfort.

After readjusting himself and showing off his ‘Eric Adams for Mayor’ shirt, Roche detailed his second leap in the world of media illiteracy. “You know, I sat and reread the book a couple times. I just knew there was some subtext under all the cool scenes of The Comedian shooting people and Ozymandias dropping that squid on New York,” Roche explained, before suggesting that The United States should drop a similarly designed squid on the Gaza Strip.

“This book is really kind of about how utilitarianism is good, actually. I also played around with the idea of how Moore is actually saying that superheroes should be cops,” he noted.

“What’s really spectacular about Seymour isn’t his actual ideas. It’s the way in which he combines all of them to create this exceptional misunderstanding of the source material,” explains media illiteracy expert Walter Higgins.

“You see these really incredible things in a vacuum, like Damon Lindeloff using a Black woman as a vehicle for insinuating that cops are Gods. Really amazing stuff, but Seymour here is throwing all of these things together and really breaking new ground. I’m blown away by his thesis that Ozymandias represents not the Jewish cabal world conspiracy, but the gay, Eastern European cabal. Truly exceptional. Alan Moore would be disgusted.”

Multiple sources reached out to Moore, who promptly told them life is meaningless and we’re all doomed to burn for all eternity.

AEW News: Anarchy in the Arena match winner confirmed

AEW News: The Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing 2024 has now taken place and The Elite have emerged as the winners.

The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry defeated ‘Team AEW,’ which consisted of Darby Allin, FTR and Bryan Danielson.

The match started with Darby’s theme playing as the action unfolded, before Matthew Jackson demanded that The Young Bucks theme be played.

Bryan Danielson said “turn this sh*t” off and EUROPE’S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN THEN STARTS PLAYING!!!!!!! Three minutes or so later Matthew demands it be switched off as they can’t afford it. 

During the match, Darby Allin and Jack Perry went outside the arena, and Perry seemingly RAN OVER DARBY WITH A VAN. Also, Darby set Jack on fire.

Perry got the win for his team after hitting Danielson with a running knee.
