WWE News: CM Punk screwed Drew McIntyre to stop him from winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle.

Drew McIntyre faced Damian Priest in the main event of the show, and McIntyre was massively over in his home country.

The referee in the match went down on the outside of the ring, so a new official ran out to count a pinfall for McIntyre and it turned out to be Punk who only counted! Priest would get back up and hit the South of Heaven to retain his title.

Rhodes and Styles opened the show as expected, with Drew McIntyre set to headline the show against Damien Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE Superstar CM Punk has been spotted several times in Glasgow ahead of the event, even in a Celtic shop seemingly buying a shirt ahead of the show.

According to a new report from Xero News, the opening match of the event will be Cody Rhodes defending his WWE Championship against AJ Styles in the opening contest of the night.

The main event was already confirmed to be Drew McIntyre vs Damian Priest by Drew himself, where it is expected that he will win the World Heavyweight Championship in his home country.
