WWE Backlash 2024 just took place from France, and we’ve got everything that took place on the show in this article.
The show had five matches confirmed ahead of the night, with the main event set for Cody Rhodes to defend his WWE Championship against AJ Styles.
Damian Priest also put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line as well against Jey Uso, who won a Fatal 4 Way match on RAW to earn the opportunity.

- The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga) b. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton – Solo hit Owens with then Samoan Spike for the win after TANGA LOA debuted!
- WWE Women’s Championship Match: Bayley (c) b. Tiffany Stratton and Naomi – Bayley retained her title after reversing a rollup from Naomi to get the pinfall
- World Heavyweight Championship Match: Damian Priest (c) b. Jey Uso – Priest hit a South of Heaven from the top turnbuckle to take the win
- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill b. Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) (c) – Belair and Cargill took the win to become the NEW Tag Team Champions!
- Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) b. AJ Styles – Cody hit the Cross Rhodes to RETAIN his title!
