AEW News: Swerve Strickland has emerged victorious in his latest AEW Championship defence against Christian Cage.
Cage was confirmed as the challenger a few weeks ago on Dynamite by The Young Bucks, who seemed to initially tease that it would be Kenny Omega heading to the ring to face the former WWE NXT Superstar.
AEW News: Swerve beats Cage
Swerve had a Warriors (the film) themed entrance and gear that was really cool, but this match came three and a half hours into the show.
After much interference, Swerve took the win with the House Call following the Double Stomp from the top rope.
