Cinema! Boy, do we love it. The silver screen, the comfy seats, the emergency exits at the front, side, and rear of the auditorium. These are the things dreams are made of. Why, I even sometimes like to treat myself to a little popcorn to snack on during the movie! The movie theater is a place where we can all come together as a community and lose ourselves in a piece of artistic accomplishment, in my opinion.
Except some of you won’t shut up about this shit! You’ve got people who just want to argue all day about whether or not a critic is a hack or which David Fincher movie really speaks to the American psyche. And don’t get me started on Letterboxd. You know you guys aren’t getting paid for this, right?
But I have noticed one positive aspect of the endless muck of Film Twitter. Engagement! You guys are getting a lot of likes and shares, and we want in. I’m going to give you some movie opinions that are so spicy, so contrarian, so out of this world that you won’t have any choice but to read to the end of this article and maybe take a look at some of these banner ads.

I think Barbie was just ok.
